Hermivore.cat - Privacy Policy

Home

1. Overview

Hermivore.cat ("this site", "this service") respects your privacy. This policy covers the website, the extension, the desktop companion tools, and all features served from it. As a rule: we do not collect personal information unless you actively submit it or link an account, and most processing happens in memory and is discarded when it completes.

2. Information We Collect

Linked Account Data

Some features require confirming that you own a third-party account (for example, your Roblox account). Depending on the method you choose, we receive your account's public user ID and username. We store these together with a signed session token (valid up to 30 days) so you stay signed in.

We never ask for, and never store, your third-party passwords, session cookies, or private credentials.

Content You Submit

Tool Inputs

Inputs sent to tools on this site (image manipulation, translation, voice and image generation, and similar) are processed in memory and discarded when processing completes, unless you explicitly save or publish the result (for example by pushing it to the CDN).

Technical Logs

Minimal technical data (such as IP addresses, timestamps, and requested endpoints) is logged briefly for security, rate limiting, and debugging, then discarded.

Aggregated Public Data

Some features compile information that is already publicly accessible on third-party services in order to provide lookup and statistics functionality. This data contains nothing private, is stored encrypted, and is used solely to power those features.

3. How We Use the Data

Data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing.

4. Cookies and Local Tokens

The site uses only the cookies or tokens required for sign-in. The browser extension stores its signed session token in the browser's local storage on your own device; clearing the extension's data (or uninstalling it) removes the token and forces a fresh sign-in. The desktop companion stores its signed session token in a local file on your own device; you may delete it at any time to force a fresh sign-in.

5. Retention and Deletion

6. Age

Where a third-party platform restricts a sign-in method by age (for example requiring you to be 13 or older), that method is only available to users who meet the platform's requirement.

7. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of the latest version.
